I practice psychodynamic psychotherapy: therapy that seeks to understand how early experience and relationship impact how one responds to the world and others. This type of therapy appeals to me because I think self understanding can make us more empathic to ourselves and to others, and become aware of ways that we can have more meaningful relationships.

People who know me usually describe me as non-judgmental. I also strive for truthfulness and I value honest reflection. I try to promote realistic self-confidence, acceptance of one’s own limitations, and sound mental health.
